Julia Jarvis and her goats will be on the square this September for Heritage Festival in Covington.

"Our soaps are made from fresh pasteurized goat's milk, full cream, which comes from our Soapy Suds dairy goats.

Milk is very moisturizing and nourishing for your skin and these soaps cleanse and soften skin.

All products are handmade and contain no chemical preservatives or artificial additives. We use vitamin E as a natural preservative in all our products.

Please visit our new website, learn more about us and try our products. We are very proud of our soaps and know that you will enjoy them as well."

Planning Under Way!

Janie Cranford and her committee of dedicated minions have been hard at work planning for Heritage Arts and Craft Festival.

Marilyn Reynolds will be here with her "Authentic Chuck Wagon". Last year she was such a hit there weren't ne'er a scrap left of her fabulous cobbler, fried pies, stew, cornbread and rice. All of these delicious vitals were cooked over an open pit with no electricity in scorching heat...well maybe not scorching but it was September and it is HOT in these parts. Add an open pit fire to the mix and well you can only imagine.

We will have not ONE but TWO Shoot-Outs between the Bank Robbing Bandits and the Sheriff and his Posse. (Times to be announced) Artist's Alley is currently under construction and it is guaranteed to be eye catching and colorful, the artwork and the artists. Ms. Julie's soap making goats (have we caught your attention?) will be hanging out with us for the day and we have Live Music scheduled for Court Square Park and the Main Stage on Main Street.

Don't worry MOM, we didn't forget about the kids! Heritage Day will start off with a Parade to end all Parades. We are asking for ALL interested children to please come dressed in their best Cowboy and Cowgirl attire and meet at he Post Office at 8:50. At 9:00 am sharp we will Parade around the square to officially start the Festival! Event Outfitters will have all of their inflatable fun bounces stationed on West Pleasant. The Petting Zoo will be directly behind Court Square Park. While you're over at the Petting Zoo be sure to stop and have your face painted.

It's still early June and we have lots of planning still left to do. If you would like to reserve a booth, please hop on over to our website, http://www.covington-tiptoncochamber.com/, to download an application.
